The Iowa Freedom Summit FAQ’s

What time does the event start?
The conference is an all-day conference and begins at 9:00 AM. Doors will open at 8:00 AM.

Will the schedule for the day be provided?
The schedule is not yet finalized. On the day of the event, you will be provided a program listing which speakers will be included in which session.

Is there adequate parking?
There is parking and it is free. View the parking map. Street parking is also available.

Will there be any opportunity to interact with the featured speakers?
No. Due to schedule restraints, there will not be an opportunity to interact (shake hands, autographs, etc.) with the featured speakers.

Can I volunteer?
At this time, all of our volunteers are already secured.

Will lunch be provided?
Yes, a box lunch will be provided.

Will there be snacks and drinks available throughout the conference?
Drinks can be purchased at the Hoyt Sherman kiosk on the main level. Snacks will not be sold at this kiosk but you are welcome to bring small snacks into the venue.

Is there an opportunity for exhibitors?
Due to limited space at the Hoyt Sherman Place, we will not have an exhibit area.

Are cameras allowed and can I take pictures?
Yes, still photography is permitted – however, video recording at the event is prohibited.

What if I need special accommodations?
Citizens United will make every attempt to accommodate any special needs you may have. Please contact info@citizensunited.org for any requests.

May I bring small children?
Children are welcome, but as a courtesy to other attendees, please bring only children of appropriate age who are equipped to sit through the entire Summit without being disruptive. Moms who are nursing are welcome to attend, but unfortunately, there will be no special nursing rooms available.
